We ReCycle these Materials!

Ink Cartridges

•  Did you know reusing cartridges means a significant reduction in both energy and resources? Around 2 liters of oil are used in the manufacturing process of one single laser printer cartridge. Recycling also conserves steel and aluminum, two other resources included in the manufacture of printer cartridges. ReCycle them at the ReStore!

Cell Phones and PDAs

•  Cell phones and PDAs contain materials which are harmless during their usable life, but become a potentially toxic hazard to our environment when disposed of improperly. ReCycle them at the ReStore!

Batteries

•  Batteries contain heavy metals such as mercury, lead, cadmium, and nickel, which can contaminate the environment when batteries are disposed of improperly. ReCycle them at the ReStore! (no Automotive or other types of liquid batteries)

Aluminum Cans

Central South Carolina Habitat for Humanity uses the proceeds from aluminum can recycling in our mission to "Eliminate Poverty Housing"  ReCycle them at the ReStore!
