Deconstruction is the careful removal of building materials from homes to be salvaged for reuse, also known as "Harvesting",

"Harvest Teams" are volunteer groups led by trained staff that cosmetically remove usable items the ReStore can sell to the general public

Central South Carolina ReStore Harvest Teams have salvaged items from over 200 home across the Midlands.

Through the resale of these items, the ReStore has generated thousands of dollars in revenue, helping Central South Carolina Habitat for Humanity accomplish its mission of "Eliminating Poverty Housing"

The ReStore offers deconstruction or "Harvesting" as a free service, and all items salvaged are tax deductible. We specialize in cosmetic removal only.  We are able to salvage items such as cabinets, doors, windows, plumbing fixtures, lighting, and architectural items from both houses slated for demolition and from remodels.

Our Deconstruction team consists of trained professionals who work hard to meet demolition deadlines, and take great pride and care in their work and on the homes they are working on.
